Camarines Sur Police Provincial Office headed by PSSUPT RAMIRO M. BAUSA conducted a seminar about MEDIA RELATIONS on April 26, 2013 at Andaya Multi- Purpose Building, Camarines Sur Police Provincial Office. The activity was participated by PCR Personnel and PIO PNCOs from the different Municipal Police Stations and Provincial Public Safety Company of Camarines Sur Police Provincial Office, PO3 NEDA L. GREGAS, the C,PIO of AKLAN PPO was invited to act as the Guest Lecturer. She discussed how to make press release, duty of the spokesperson, how to answer during TV/radio interviews and how to deal/talk to media personalities.
The main purpose of the seminar was to acquire knowledge on how to have good communication skills, establish good rapport to the public and learn techniques on how to answer questions raised by the media.
The Camarines Sur Police Provincial Office headed by PSSUPT RAMIRO M. BAUSA, in cooperation with the PBN TV5 Naga and Radio station DZ OK Naga with Mr. Elmer Abad, Station Manager , Ms. Tina Aureus and Mr. June Derla, spearheaded the launching of “URULAY SA ISYUNG PULIS” or “USIP”, a local Radio/TV program of Talakayan sa Isyung Pulis of PNP National Headquarters on May 1, 2013 at Andaya Multi-purpose Building, Camarines Sur Police Provincial Office. This was attended by all staff officers, PPSC personnel, all PCO and PNCOs of said PPO and some of Mass Communications students undergoing On-the –Job Training from Ateneo De Naga University.
Through the project, CSPPO will venture its programs and activities to reach out to the public the sincere commitment of the PNP in the conduct of various Police Community Relations Activities.
PNP-Bicol. Most Reverend Bishop LEOPOLDO S. TUMULAK visits Police Regional Office 5 on April 16, 2013. He was warmly welcomed by personnel of Police Regional Office 5 under the stewardship of PCSUPT (ATTY.) CLARENCE V. GUINTO, Regional Director.
His Eminence officiated a holy mass intended for a peaceful, secure and fair election 2013. He also officiated a holy sacrament of confirmation to 260 PNP dependents aging 9 years old and above.
Most Reverend Bishop LEOPOLDO TUMULAK also conducted a dialogue with the Leaders of Civil Society Organizations/ Non- Partisan Groups regarding the incoming National and Local Elections at Andang’s Garden¸ Diversion Road, Masbate City on April 15, 2013.
PNP-PRO5. PDG ALLAN LA MADRID PURISIMA, the Chief of the Philippine National Police visited Bicol University on April 12, 2013. He was invited by the Bicol University Graduating Students as one of the resource speakers on the forum entitled “Postering Peace Towards Sustainable Development”. Said activity was graced by Bicol University Faculty members, students, and personnel of Police Regional Office 5.
The CPNP delivered a speech regarding the changes needed by the Philippine National Police in order to effectively and efficiently perform its mandated task of crime prevention and crime solution. He further discussed his strategic focus, towards the realization of the PNP P.A.T.R.O.L PLAN 2030 termed as CODE:P which means Competence, Organization, Discipline, Excellence and Professionalism in the PNP organization. With this program, he believes that the community will experience new breed of police heroes who trod the “TUWID NA DAAN” and deliver the “SERBISYONG MAKATOTOHANAN”.
