Police Regional Office 5 commemorated the 147th Birth Anniversary of Gen Simeon A Ola on September 2, 2012 at General Ola Shrine, Camp Gen Simeon A Ola, Legazpi City. The ceremony started with a traditional flag raising ceremony followed by the wreath laying led by PCSUPT JOSE ARNE M DELOS SANTOS, Ph.D./PESE, Regional Director PRO5 together with PSSUPT RAUL P HEBRIO, PESE, Group Director, RHSG who marched slowly with the wreath bearers of 5RPSB in the melodic accompaniment of the PRO5 Band playing Pilipinas Kong Mahal Hymn.
The Philippine National Police Regional Office 5, Camp Gen Simeon A Ola under the stewardship of PCSUPT JOSE ARNE M DELOS SANTOS, Regional Director PRO5, deployed at least 2,000 police personnel to assist the funeral rites of the late DILG Secretary Jesse M Robredo.
The augmentation force came from the RHQ/RHSG, PNP Police Provincial Office (PPOs), newly graduates of PNP SCOUT and PO1 recruits undergoing FTP who were personally supervised by PNP CHIEF POLICE DIRECTOR GENERAL NICANOR BARTOLOME together with the members of the PRO5 Command Group Directorial Staff to enforce the security plan.
The Regional Headquarters Support Group headed by PSSUPT RAUL P HEBRIO joined the tree planting activity held at Brgy. Lidong, Sto. Domingo, Albay on August 4, 2012 in strong support to the Chief, PNP legacy project “PULIS MAKAKALIKASAN: 10 Milyong Puno Pamana sa Kinabukasan”.
The tree planting activity was participated by 172 RHQ/RHSG personnel including NUP who were be able to plant different variety of seedlings like narra, pili, mahogany, agoho and other fruit bearing trees.
The PRO5 BAND and COMBO as part of the Regional Headquarters Support Group under the leadership of PSSUPT RAUL P HEBRIO, RHSG Group Director has always been supportive and cooperative in attaining the PNP mission and vision.
By upholding to the organization’s mandate, the group is involved in participating with the different activities within and outside the PNP. This is in manifestation that the group is not only a protector of life but also imbued with harmonic civil-military relationships and promotes peace and order in the community.
